In the late 60’s many DJ’s offered their services free of charge to various Hospital Radio Stations, providing music and entertainment to both patients and staff.<\/p>\n

Radio Kaleidoscope equipment supplied to\u00a0Buster<\/a> at 31 Avondale Road doubled up to produce Radio Recovery taped shows for Hospital Radio services at Southend-on-Sea General Hospital.<\/p>\n

Dj’s\u00a0Andy Archer<\/a>, Andy Bowman<\/a>,\u00a0Mike Baker<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Rona Dene<\/a>\u00a0each provided shows to Hospital Radio along with DJ’s Scott Peters, Pauline Peters, Steve Allen<\/a>, Barry Collins<\/a>, Mike Raven, Mandy Raven, Edward Cole, Phil Jay, Adrian Love and Roger (Twiggy) Day<\/a><\/p>\n
