Alex ran the Free Radio Campaign (FRC) from his house in Rainham in Essex.


Free Radio News was a regular magazine produced by the FRC that kept everyone informed about the existence of the land-based stations as well as the offshore stations. Many DJs provided articles for this very popular magazine.



In the late 1960s, Radio Kaleidoscope used the FRC address to receive its mail: Box K3A - 28 Kingaby Gardens, Rainham, Essex.



Alex has granted us permission to re-print FRN extracts from our archives.
