In the late 60’s many DJ’s offered their services free of charge to various Hospital Radio Stations, providing music and entertainment to both patients and staff.

Radio Kaleidoscope equipment supplied to Buster at 31 Avondale Road doubled up to produce Radio Recovery taped shows for Hospital Radio services at Southend-on-Sea General Hospital.

Dj’s Andy Archer, Andy Bowman, Mike Baker and Rona Dene each provided shows to Hospital Radio along with DJ’s Scott Peters, Pauline Peters, Steve Allen, Barry Collins, Mike Raven, Mandy Raven, Edward Cole, Phil Jay, Adrian Love and Roger (Twiggy) Day
