| Schoffrons was a Radio Shop located inside York Road Market at Southend-on-sea, they stocked lots of ex-military surplus equipment and heavy electrical items. It was from here that among other items we obtain the large glass or ceramic Arial insulators for the Radio Caroline antenna system. When Schoffron was told where the parts were going he provided them free of charge! John Langston then organised the safe delivery of the parts to the Mi Migo Radio Caroline ship. |
