The Radio kaleidoscope road show, better known as “Discophonic Discotheques” was based at Hadleigh and Stanford-le-Hope , Essex.

The two main DJ’s were ” Mr H” and “Steve T” who teamed up in 1968 and soon established a string of clients who regularly booked them for a variety of functions from weddings, anniversaries to social clubs, Bar Mitzvah to Masonic Halls. Night clubs to Irish clubs everyone was catered for both young and old.

The original Twin DJ record deck-consoles used by Discophonic Discotheques were always specially ordered usually in red cloth from “Sound Electronics” London, the record decks were Garrard SP25 MkIII supporting Ceramic pick-up cartridges, the microphone was a Sure Unidyne II

In the seventies Simon Stanway of Hadleigh Marching Militaire joined in providing set up assistance and background music.
